Do Not Sell or Share My Info

You may have the right, under the CCPA/CPRA in California or an equivalent statute in another US state, to opt out of having your personal information sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page tells you how.
What Happens Next
After you opt out, targeted advertising ceases but advertising may not. The site itself is unchanged — no content is locked, no feature is removed, and no reader is disadvantaged for having exercised the right.
What Triggers This Right
- We should be clear about scope. Your personal information is not sold for money. Where advertising is served, though, identifiers may be shared with advertising partners, and because these laws define ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ expansively, that sharing may fall within them. The opt-out is offered on that basis.
- The opt-out is not limited to subscribers: any of readers interested in BowlForGrey browsing bowlforgrey.com can use it.
Submitting an Opt-Out
Three ways. Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser — we honour it automatically, and nothing further is required. Or use the consent banner, where presented, to refuse advertising cookies. Or write to hello@bowlforgrey.com with the subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. You do not need an account with us to do any of this.
The State Privacy Notice sets out every right these statutes provide, not just this one.
